Today as I was thinking in the midst of comforting my sick 2 year old Rhyan, cooking dinner, answering the phone, putting laundry away, and 'trying' to get my 1 year old (Ryker) to stop playing in the trash, that I realized I had come up with a motto for my life.
Put your big girl panties on.......and deal.
Welcome to the Adventures of the Cantelmes!!!!!
This motto has been a re-occuring them that I speak about with friends and family. There is no time in my life for excuses or dependency on the 'crutches' that society may use. Don't get me wrong, there are days I need some help putting those big girl panties on, but for the most part I live my life in the present and manage my life without the use of excuses and neediness for constant reassurance.
In this instance in the adventure of my life, I did deal! I managed. The hubby was a work today and in a matter of 2 min my nice, friendly, cuddly children turn to monsters. Fighting for my attention. I had to manage, I had to do what was necessary, I had to. What was I going to do, leave my children to fend for themselves? What kind of citizens would I be raising if I did? This adventure that I am on will speak openly about parenting, mommyhood, marriage, friendship, and general lifestyle encounters.
Stay tuned for an exciting adventure, wherever the Cantelme's end up spending there days tomorrow and future tomorrows.
